Topics include proper handling of grinders, weld coupons, identification of hazards, and an introduction to square groove welding processes. It is sponsored by the United Association of Union Plumbers, Fitters, Welders, and Service Technicians and is for apprenticeship only. Course enrollment is limited to those who have been accepted by the union local responsible for the section.
