    Description
    Apprentice. This course presents the study of rigging for the pipe trades and emphasizes principles of safety. Topics include safety, load limits, crane ratings, basic knots, and organizing a rigging plan. It is sponsored by the United Association of Union Plumbers, Fitters, Welders, and Service Technicians and is for apprenticeship only. Course enrollment is limited to those who have been accepted by the union local responsible for the section.
