The role of genetics, neural development, neural communication and pathways, brain structures, neurotransmitters, drugs, endocrine system, and sensory systems in typical and atypical behavior and cognition are addressed. Current theories related to the role of neural and biological processes in the etiology and treatment of psychological disorders, motor disorders, and other central nervous pathologies are presented.
