Regional Public Safety Training Center 647 This course provides a basic introduction to legal aspects of shooting and firearms safety. Topics include safe and proper handling, nomenclature, mechanical functions, manipulation, range safety, shooting principles, accuracy, and live-fire exercises. This POST-certified course complies with California Penal Code 832. All firearms exercise testing will be conducted under written presenter safety procedures and protocols established in accordance with POST safety guidelines.
