Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis course provides an introduction to Green Technology Pre- Apprenticeship. It covers tools, equipment, materials, and techniques used in the green fields such as electrical, plumbing, heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), and carpentry. Topics include commercial and industrial building energy efficiency, building codes, sustainability, distributed generation systems, utilities, and smart grids. Additional topics include safety training, and construction math. This course is not open to students who have completed PREAP 141. Field trips may be required.
