- Card, equivalent licensure as a paramedic, nurse, physician, or allied health professional, or current enrollment in an allied health program. This course provides education modules specific to adult cardiac emergencies for health care professionals. Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is granted to students who successfully complete the course.
