It provides an assessment of personal aptitudes, learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses in written and verbal communication, and potential barriers to successful completion of the nursing program. It also provides the development of personal and professional support systems and development of a purposeful analytic process that supports reasoned decisions and judgments as a healthcare professional.
