Advanced techniques in equalization, spatial placement, automation, and reverberation are investigated. Lab work is regularly presented in class for critical evaluation. A routine component of the course is listening exercises to develop critical listening skills. The Music Department's Avid Pro Tools HD Digital Audio Workstation will be used for mixing projects.
