Topics include polynomial, rational, radical, exponential, absolute value, and logarithmic functions, graphs, and equations; systems of equations; the theory of polynomial equations; analytic geometry including conics; and an introduction to sequences and series. Emphasis is given to analytical reasoning and problem- solving. This course may be taken concurrently with MATH 373, Trigonometry for Calculus.
