- Apprentice. This course covers the installation of carpet on floating stairs, winder stairs with balusters, and simple box stairs. It also briefly covers the laying of more intricate carpet tile found in some flooring installations. This course is the equivalent of course number 403 for the Carpenter's Training Center of Northern California (CTCNC).
