- Apprentice. This course is an introduction to carpet and installation. It focuses on matching patterned carpets. A review of carpet tools, fibers, layout, and seam cutting techniques is included. Glue down installation and the tools used in the process are covered. This course is the equivalent of course number 205 for the Carpenter's Training Center of Northern California (CTCNC).
