- This course introduces the basic principles of green building and sustainable design (GBSD) and focuses on applications in the practice of commercial or residential interior space planning and design. It includes a historic perspective and the appropriate application of these principles in the profession and also introduces the requirements for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. Virtual and/or in- person field trips may be required.
