Description: This course introduces the principles and concepts of remote sensing and digital image processing as they relate to Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Topics include the fundamentals of remote sensing, aerial photography, satellite imagery, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) imaging systems. It covers a variety of digital image processing techniques to analyze data from various remote sensing platforms.
