    Description
    Fire Behavior; successful completion of pre-course work; basic understanding of how to use a GPS receiver; and FOBS: Qualified as any single resource boss OR FEMO: completed SFT Firefighter 1 training. This course provides the techniques, theory, and practical experience to be a field observer/display processor in the Incident Command System Planning Section. Topics include identifying and interpreting maps, making map calculations, using observation aids, mapping from aircraft, making field observations, and processing and displaying data. Credit/ No Credit only.
