    Description
    must 1) be an employee of a federal wildland fire fighting agency, which includes: United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, the United States Department of Interior's Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, or a member of a local or state fire agency, and 2) must have successfully completed Introduction to Incident Command System (ICS), I-100, which is an online course provided by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). This course provides students with a working knowledge of the functions and responsibilities of the Intelligence Support position within the dispatch/coordination system. Topics include basic terminology and concepts related to maps, weather, fire danger, preparation and submission of reports and briefings, and product dissemination.
