This course provides local and state-level emergency responders with an overview of key duties and responsibilities of a Planning Section Chief type-III in a Type III All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT). Topics include the role of the Planning Section Chief, Resources Unit and Situation Unit, initial response, the planning cycle, interactions, and an overview of the documentation and demobilization units.
