    Description
    must 1) be an employee of a federal wildland fire fighting agency, which includes: United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, the Regional Public Safety Training Center 627 United States Department of Interior's Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, or a member of a local or state fire agency, and 2) qualified as dispatch recorder (EDRC). This course provides a consistent knowledge and skill base for the aircraft dispatcher (ACDP). It includes concepts that will help an ACDP perform at an acceptable level on a national basis without regard to geographic boundaries. It also provides an overview of aircraft dispatching, maps and aviation charts, decision making, situational awareness, airspace coordination, safety, and aircraft. Pass/No Pass only.
