    Description
    must 1) be an employee of a federal wildland fire fighting agency, which includes: United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, the United States Department of Interior's Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, or a member of a local or state fire agency, 2) successful completion of Basic Firefighter (S-130), and 3) qualified as dispatch recorder (EDRC). This course provides a consistent knowledge and skill base for the initial attack dispatcher (IADP). It includes concepts that will help an IADP perform at an acceptable level on a national basis without regard to geographic boundaries. Topics include initial attack dispatching, extended attack support, maps and aviation charts, and radio use. Pass/ No Pass only.
