    Description
    must be 1) an employee of a federal wildland fire fighting agency, which includes: United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, the United States Department of Interior's Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, or a member of a local or state fire agency. This course provides in-depth training in the Incident Command System (ICS) and its components. This course provides the necessary training needed to manage and command large scale complex incidents, as well as the knowledge to develop organizational structures. Topics include fundamentals review for command and general staff, major and/or complex incident/event management, area command, and multi-agency coordination. This course was formerly listed as FIRE 1623 prior to November 2017.
