It emphasizes the differences between lead and lead-free soldering processes. Topics include safety, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Printed Circuit Board (PCB) components and assembly, electronic components and identification, lead and lead-free soldering and desoldering techniques in Plated Through Hole (PTH), Surface Mount Device/ Technology (SMD/SMT), and fine to ultra-fine-pitch soldering.
