Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis lab course offers students practice in reading, formatting/ mechanics, writing, and/or grammar skills at the novice-high level. Students confer with a lab instructor to design a study plan to refine basic English language skills. This course provides individualized and small-group instruction for students. This course is most beneficial when taken concurrently with ESL 37. Students receive a grade of Pass and 0.5 units of credit for accumulating 27 lab hours and completing assigned work. Students may take this course in .5 unit increments over the course of three semesters, split the units over two semesters, or take 1.5 units in one semester using different modules.
