    Description
    through the assessment process. This course is part of the listening and speaking sequence that prepares ESL students to take college courses leading to a certificate, degree, and/or transfer. It focuses on learning vocabulary, participating in a variety of listening activities, and discussing a wide variety of topics. It helps students to recognize and produce the sounds, stress, rhythm, and intonation patterns of American English.
