    Description
    appropriate level. This is a course for English language learners at the novice-high level, which provides an introduction to the basics of English grammar including parts of speech, word form, word order, and the fundamental verb tenses necessary for spoken and written discourse. It is part of the grammar sequence that prepares ESL students to take college courses leading to a certificate, degree, and/or transfer.
