Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course offers reading skills to transfer-level students as applied to various content-area courses. Topics include the following: assessing the reading process and material to employ appropriate strategies to meet the purpose for reading; utilizing one's reading rates and styles based on purpose and material; utilizing college-level, discipline-based vocabulary; and mastering the skills needed to critically read and analyze current and future transfer-level course texts.
