In addition, it covers the relationship between cultural events and literary conventions and to do so with an awareness of literature's role in culture, emphasizing diverse experiences and perspectives. This course includes analysis of literary models from diverse cultures, faculty and class critiques of texts, and discussion of literary techniques, such as voice, metaphor, imagery, dialogue, and narrative in each covered genre. This course encourages students to develop an original voice, reflecting their unique backgrounds and experiences.
