Description: This course introduces the Linux operating system for microcomputers. Concepts include the kernel, file structures, daemons, graphical user interfaces (GUI), open source, file security and permissions. It also covers procedures for installing software, basic system administration and utilities, the Bourne again shell (BASH), command line interface utilities, and introduction to scripting topics.
