Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course focuses on analyzing and developing artists' mediums and techniques. Historical information about various materials, development, and their relationship to personal imagery and style are emphasized. The composition of pigments, their historical origins, and various binders are explored. The construction of various artists' substrates and supports as well as the techniques of matting and framing artwork are also covered. A supply fee may be required for this course.
