    Description
    This course introduces the visual development of characters based on archetypal patterns. Topics include backstory, personality, and physical attributes. Fundamental drawing skills such as shape, form, anatomical structure, and motion will be included. Both digital and traditional media are applied. It also covers the graphical development of characters for animation, games, comics, graphic novels, children's books, and illustrated novels. It is not open to students who have completed ARTNM 372.
