Forensic anthropology uses the analysis of human skeletal remains to answer medicolegal questions. This course emphasizes current techniques used in analysis of human skeletal remains, medicolegal procedures, and the role of the anthropologist in the investigative process. It examines the basics of bone biology, methods of skeletal analysis, and recognition of bone pathology and trauma. Field trips may be required.
