    Description
    The application of safety considerations involved in a firing operation. Topics include planning, ignition procedures and techniques and equipment applicable to wildland and prescribed fire. The role of the ignition specialist or firing boss as the organization manages escalation from non-complex to a complex fire situation will also be addressed.
