This course emphasizes writing skills at the advanced level, covering the most common types of essay styles (descriptive, narrative, argumentative, academic), and focusing on the writing process as a communicative process. Students will review Spanish grammar, essay structure, and improve on formal vocabulary selection via reading and writing exercises. The oral production component is also evaluated. Also included are the sociocultural and literary components of the Spanish-speaking world.
