Transfers ToCSUDescriptionAn introduction to the basic principles of sports officiating with emphasis on the following sports: baseball/softball, basketball, football, soccer and volleyball. Includes application of contest rules, officiating mechanics, officiating styles, and professional responsibilities applicable to each sport covered. Students will learn about ethical considerations, effective communication, decision making skills, and conflict resolution, as they relate to professional officiating.
