Students learn how to make silver rings, earrings, pins, bracelets and pendants using an array of techniques such as sawing, drilling, filing, polishing, forming, texturing, riveting, soldering, patina application, Keum Boo, inlay, and more. Students learn how to design and use tools, work with different materials, incorporate gemstones in their design and more. Frequent review of new concepts occurs through lectures and demonstrations at a pace that suits the needs and abilities of individual students. Peer feedback is utilized to maximize social interaction and encourage problem solving and critical thinking.
