Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis course is designed to prepare the student to become an instructor for a law enforcement driver awareness course involving slow skills driving. This course covers the dynamics of emergency and law enforcement vehicle operations including defensive driving, to enhance the safety and raise the skill level of peace officers in California. Students will learn to implement and instruct the basic skills that can be incorporated into all vehicle operation. Students who complete this course can then take the Driver Training Instructor 40-hour course (LE 391).
