Transfers ToCSUDescriptionAllows students to expedite degree or certificate completion by undertaking an additional practicum concurrently with one of the Human Services program internships (HUSV 120, 130, 140, 150, or 160). Provides students with a combination of practicum/supervised work experience in a social services or helping setting (2-4 units/120-300 hours required). The internship course in which the student is concurrently enrolled provides a seminar format in which to discuss, analyze, and critically evaluate their experience in this practicum. Permission of instructor is required. This course may not be used to meet the internship requirement for the Addiction Studies degree/certificate.
