Emphasis is placed on culturally responsive, strengths-based, and trauma-informed practice across micro, mezzo, and macro levels. Students examine legal and ethical standards, social problems, community resources, and the roles of social workers in diverse practice settings such as mental health, child welfare, healthcare, and criminal justice.
