- This laboratory course reinforces all the concepts in the theory course. The student will apply these concepts, practice with equipment, and perform hands-on work experiences including decontamination, preparing and packaging instruments, sterilization and disinfection, storage and distribution, quality assurance processes, and equipment. The course meets the required hours of work experiences to be eligible for certification examination.
