Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis beginning-level academy module meets and exceeds the US Department of Transportation Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) National Standard Curriculum for students desiring eligibility for certification as an EMT in the State of California. State certification as an EMT is mandated as the minimum level of emergency medical training required to work on any ambulance and for most fire departments. A uniform and other related material will be required. Enrollment is done through an application process.
