The emphasis is on improving reading comprehension and efficiency and helping students become critical readers. This course is not open to students who are enrolled in or have received credit for ELD 523, ENGL 312 or READ 310. This is a mirrored course; it is offered at the same time and place as the credit course. Noncredit and credit students take the class together with one instructor and complete the same coursework.
