    Description
    Child development concepts applied to all aspects of the elementary school age child; special emphasis on literacy development and responsive teacher-child practices, including understanding diverse learning styles, influences of culture and language acquisition. This course requires 3 hours weekly of supervised practicum teaching in the elementary school setting, which are to be scheduled. This course is not open to students who are enrolled in or have completed ECS 132. (S)
