    Description
Students receive in-depth training in the art and science of barbering in this first course of the two-course barbering program. This includes both theoretical instruction and hands-on practice in areas such as haircutting, shaving, facials, hair coloring, chemical services, and client care. The course emphasizes health and safety, sanitation practices, professional ethics, and customer service. Instruction is delivered through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, textbook study, and practical experience in a real-world barbershop setting. Students will develop the skills and confidence necessary to perform a wide range of barbering services and prepare for state licensure.
